* Our bankruptcy fee does not include court filing fees. As of 2013, the filing fee for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy is $306, and the fee for a Chapter 13 is $281. In addition to these costs, our firm charges a $33 credit check fee for single clients, and $53 for married clients. The credit check is necessary to gather current contact information for all of your creditors.

Under current bankruptcy law, each debtor must complete a credit counseling course prior to filing for bankruptcy, and a course in financial management prior to receiving a discharge. These courses cost approximately $40 each.

Our fee does not include Motions for Relief from Stay and adversarial matters. Representation in these matters is available when needed, but they are charged separately.
